| CL Posting This guy in Austin is selling a block built by a Nissan master-tech from Round Rock Nissan (not that it means much). He claims that the engine was built with CP pistons and Manley Rods. The seller installed the head-gasket and believe he did it incorrectly, as he said it blew the gasket. He told me that there is coolant inside the cylinder. I'm not sure what sort of damage that could have caused, but he is wanting to sell it for as little as $100 (maybe less?). I was tempted to buy it just to take it apart (never done that before to a short block), but is it likely the rods and pistons are still good after a blown head-gasket? He told me the engine was rebuilt 6 months ago. I'm usually half-way decent at getting a read on people, and I believe he is telling me the truth.
